Practical HR Strategies has all the sessions you need including -
  • Finding the perfect job -  Where do you start, where are the best places to find a job – looks at online options, agencies, hard copy and completing an online application?

  • Resumes – An opportunity to consider what should and shouldn’t be included in this document and what recruiters are looking for. If there is time, participants will create their own resume 

  • Cover letters - Practical discussion on how to complete one and what should be included

  • Selection Criteria – often a critical document for government positions. Covers common examples and what elements required

  • Job interviews – This session covers different types of interviews ( e.g. panel, assessment centres and group) and common questions. Can also include skills to prepare participants for interview and dressing for success

  • Work rights and entitlements – understand the employment contract and your rights in the workplace

  

Session timing is flexible and prices start from $100  for up to 10 participants for a 30 minute session. 

Participants receive a package of handouts for each session to assist in putting their own documents together.

After session support is also available.
